Christian Pendleton brings three decades of elite hospitality expertise to his role as Director of Operations for the Ralph Brennan Restaurant Group (RBRG) and Managing Director of Brennan’s. Raised globally in an Army family and having served as a sergeant with the U.S. Army’s 1st Ranger Battalion, Pendleton forged his culinary career in some of the nation’s most demanding dining rooms. His prestigious background includes serving as Service Director under Thomas Keller at Per Se in New York, as well as managing notable restaurants across Washington, D.C.—where he was Director of Operations for the Knightsbridge Group—and the Orlando area.

In 2014, Pendleton relocated to New Orleans to join the opening team of the revitalized Brennan’s. Over the past decade, he has become a true standard-bearer for Crescent City food, tradition, and hospitality. With a leadership style defined by equal parts reverence and reinvention, he has breathed new life into iconic traditions like "Breakfast at Brennan’s" and Bananas Foster, while championing vibrant new staples such as the annual Turtle Parade and establishing Brennan’s as the "Champagne House of the South."

Under his stewardship, Brennan's has earned widespread national acclaim, including six consecutive Wine Spectator Grand Awards (2021–2026), five James Beard Foundation “Best Chef: South” finalists, and a finalist nod for Outstanding Restaurant.

Deeply committed to the New Orleans community, Pendleton served four years as Board Chair of the French Quarter Management District and currently chairs its Security and Enforcement Committee. He is also Brennan’s Maître Sabreur and the Louisiana Ambassador for the Confrérie du Sabre d’Or.

In his expanded role with RBRG, Pendleton directs operations across the entire group portfolio while continuing to mentor and oversee the next generation of leadership at Brennan’s. He guides his team of 200 with a sharp eye for detail, a relentless push for excellence, and a simple, exacting philosophy: “Have fun and create memories.”
