Restaurant Controller for the Ralph Brennan Restaurant Group, Sheila Heintz oversees financial operations for the company’s renowned dining establishments. With extensive experience in restaurant accounting and financial management, Sheila is crucial in budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and compliance, ensuring efficiency across all locations. Her expertise in financial reporting and team management helps maintain the group’s reputation for excellence in the hospitality industry.
A graduate of the University of New Orleans, Sheila spent five years at KPMG as a Tax Senior Manager. Thereafter, she served as Controller for ReadSoft for 15 years, an international software company with its U.S. headquarters in New Orleans. She cherished the company’s tight-knit, family-like atmosphere and gained valuable corporate finance experience during ReadSoft’s acquisitions in 2018 and 2019.
In 2021, Sheila joined Ralph Brennan Restaurant Group, drawn back to the family-oriented culture that aligns with her values. Leading the accounting team, Sheila appreciates the company’s core values and how Ralph Brennan treats everyone with the same respect, fostering a supportive and welcoming work environment.
Beyond her career, family and community service are central to Sheila’s life. Married for over 30 years, she and her husband have three children. For 17 years, she supported Seither’s Seafood, her brother-in-law’s restaurant, using her financial knowledge to help grow the business. Sheila served on the United Way fundraising committee for two years and volunteered with BizTown Junior Achievement and Dress for Success. As Committee Chairman for her church parish fair, she led the food booth for five years. Passionate about giving back, Sheila plans to continue her philanthropic efforts in the future.
